Xiomara's Gift (Revised, Published)

Manuel was a plastic surgeon in Los Alamos. He made a very good living. He owned a huge one-story ranch on 5 acres, and eight expensive cars. He had everything he wanted, and more.

And he had a wife named Xiomara.

Xiomara was a very softspoken, very sweet lady. He treated her good. He gave her everything she asked for. But Xiomara was very unhappy.

They would make love at night. She would do everything he wanted; she sucked him VERY well, threw the pussy at him, and always asked him if he was satisfied. But he knew she was not.

Her 30th birthday came. The family threw her a cookout. She smiled the whole time, but inside, she just wanted to cry. And even though she kept up appearances, her family knew she was sad.
But no one knew why.

That night, Manuel sat up while she slept. It was 11pm. He stayed up, trying to think of what he could do to make her genuinely happy. He thought of past conversations he shared with her, things she saw that cheered her up a little.

And then it hit him.

He grabbed his wallet and headed out the door.

She woke up 15 minutes later looking for Manuel, but she couldn’t find him. She called his phone, but he didn’t answer. She began to panic.

An hour later, he walked in. She ran to him before he could get in the door, hugging and kissing him. But he didn’t close the door behind him.

“Xiomara, I love you so much, all I want is your happiness mami, that’s the only way I can be happy. But I don’t make you happy, my love. So I have to do what I gotta do.”

She looked into his eyes and the tears came cascading down her soft cheeks. “Are you divorcing me Manny?”
